The
VFR.....
The Honda
VFR800 is a great bike (VFR stands for V = configuration of the engine,
F = four stroke and
R =
road).
I part
exchanged my Kawasaki Zephyr 750 D1 and purchased it from Kent
Motorcycles in July 2006. It had just under 12,000 miles
on the clock when I got it and just under
29,000 when I
part-ex'd in. Shame - there was nothing wrong with
the bike. After 5 years I just fanced a change so she had to
go.
The engine is
a watercooled, fuel injected 781cc compact V4 with gear driven
cams.
There were several versions of the VFR800Fi - the
Fi is for fuel injected and differentiates it from the previous
non fuel injected VFR750. |
